About X-Athon

Xathon, A Jubilant Food Works initiative was a marathon of 48 hours inviting teams from all the departments to build something ground up in a working prototype model solving for internal as well as external customers. For 48 hours, in the swankier new office in Noida, 18 teams in a group of techies, product, design, infra & supply chain built working protypes for a varied range of challenges.

Be it alternating a successful order from one store to another in case of on spot issue or thinking how a group of friends and relative would love to have pizza party by choosing their own pizzas in a common cart, the teams went deeper in to core problems faced by our consumers across all food brands. The office became the sleeping and resting pod, though sleep was found to be elusive and the excitement to present before the elite panel of leadership team was palpable.

Given it was our first ever attempt in doing this, the results were far more surprising, pushing us to ensure that the next version will be an invitation to best of the engineering and design schools in India to come and collaborate with India's biggest Food tech brand.
